Your child’s health and safety is a top priority at HCDS, and we are strictly implementing a number of safeguards to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff. We are following both state and locally mandated guidelines.  The following COVID-19 protocols are as listed below:

• If the student or instructor falls ill or is running a fever, the lesson will be cancelled and a credit will be applied for next month’s tuition. 

 

• The instructor will meet the student outside the front door to take their temperature and bring the student inside the building.  When the lesson is finished, the instructor will return the student back to their parents’/caregivers’ car. 

 

• All parents, students, and instructors are required to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose. 

 

• Both instructor and student will wash their hands prior to the lesson and after the lesson.

 

• Protective, acrylic tabletop barriers will be utilized at each workstation to separate instructor and student in order to ensure added safety. 

 

• Each student will have his/her own bag of personal supplies and individual notebook.

 

• All lessons, areas, chairs, and tables will be disinfected before and after each student use.

 

The office will be cleaned, and high touch points will be sanitized daily.
